LEVI BURGETT

Trauma Therapy Intern

Seeking help with life’s challenges can be a scary endeavor. As a counselor, Levi’s goal is to create a safe place that empowers people to create lasting, positive changes in their lives. Levi has lived and worked outside the United States for over seventeen years (UAE and Afghanistan) in the humanitarian aid and business sectors, which has built in him a sensitivity and respect for people from many different cultural and religious backgrounds.

Levi is in his final year of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University and has joined the Rapha Hope & Healing Center team to complete his counseling internship under the supervision of Angie Brower, LCSW.

He has experience helping clients from diverse cultures work through challenges such as depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anger, loss, relational challenges, unwanted sexual behaviors, and premarital/marriage counseling. Using primarily cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, Levi is passionate about helping clients break free from unhealthy cycles and develop tools that promote long-lasting well-being.

Levi is now accepting new clients and is currently seeing teens, adults, individuals and couples.
